Birthdays banners have always been part of the big birthday celebration in my family. It doesn't matter if it's a 1st Birthday, 16th Birthday, 90th Birthday or anything in between; we are going to celebrate that special day to the fullest. One of the things that we try to do for each Birthday is to create a theme based on things such as someone's age, personality, hobby or special interest. In addition to balloons, cakes, and party favors, we also make sure that we have Birthday banners to hang to add to the festivities. If you are decorating for a party and choosing your decorations, you might want to consider using one, as well. There are a large variety on the market. For instance, if you have a theme such as a Disney Character or popular TV show, you will be able to design a Birthday banner available to go along with that theme. You can also design Birthday banners for Mexican fiestas, luaus or other festive party themes. When searching for one, if you don't find one that goes with your theme, you can look for generic banners that simply say "Happy Birthday" on them in a wide variety of colors that will at least coordinate with the rest of the party decorations. In addition, you might want to consider one based on someone's age that says such things as "Happy 1st Birthday", "Over the Hill" or "Lordy, Lordy Look Whose 40" to hang up for the party. One of our favorite banners that we use for Birthdays is the personalized. There are websites that allow you to create your own banner. They can be as simple as finding a template that you like and adding the person's name. You will also find those that are a little more elaborate with many options available such as adding a person's photo to the banner or even custom creating one with your own wording including a person's name and photo. Not only can you customize them for your family and friends, you can actually find those that can be made to celebrate the Birthday of your favorite furry family members, the family pet.
If you search the internet and cannot find oner that fits your needs, you might want to consider designing and making your own Birthday banner from home. One year we bought rolls of white butcher paper and made our own Birthday banners. We had a great time making them with anything from markers to paints and even finger paints. For one of my relative's 95th Birthday party we printed off pictures from the time they were young to the present and strung them together with ribbon to hang up as a banner around the room. A Birthday banner is only limited by your imagination. If you have one in mind you can search the internet and can typically find the Birthday banners that you are looking for. If you can't find one or if you are just feeling creative, you can always make your own to give it that special personal touch.
